2. Who This App Is For

Quick Check App is designed for use by trained maintenance technicians and organizations involved in industrial operations. Access to the Application requires a valid Technician ID issued by EDGE SA. The Application is not directed to individuals under the age of 18.

The Application uses expo-audio exclusively to play a short beep sound as feedback when a QR code is successfully scanned. No audio is recorded, no microphone access is required, and no audio data is collected or transmitted.

While the Application processes business identifiers (Technician ID, Name, and Email), these are used strictly for operational purposes within EDGE SA systems and are not shared with third parties for marketing or tracking.

While we do not collect direct personal identifiers, certain operational data (such as Technician ID and location data) may be associated with an identifiable user within EDGE SA systems.

Background tasks are used strictly for data synchronization purposes and do not access location data or any device sensors while the app is running in the background.

Note: The application utilizes standard technical libraries (such as React Native Screens and Gesture Handler) to manage the user interface and navigation; these do not access, collect, or store any personal data.

All permissions are used strictly for operational functionality and not for advertising, profiling, or tracking. You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's system settings.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioural profiling, or any purpose unrelated to maintenance operations.

Processing of data is based on the legitimate interest of EDGE SA in managing industrial maintenance operations and on the contractual relationship with authorized technicians.
